Martin Modern, the latest project by the GuocoLand Group, is one of the hottest developments launched this year. The developer has already lined up an impressive team to craft this modern condominium, and it is sure to be a picturesque addition to the Singapore skyline upon its completion in June 2022.
A lush garden in the city
A garden concept has been planned with over 80% of the 171,536 sq ft plot space set aside to grow a luscious and eco-friendly “forest” consisting of over 250 species of trees, plants and palms. This lush garden will be spread over 3 levels and 15 zones, and some features include a forest trail, party lawn, rain garden and a maze. Additionally, there will also be 2 rooftops gardens for residents to enjoy panoramic views of Singapore while basking in the comforting and relaxing greenery.
This beautiful forest set in the midst of the bustling city and right in Martin Modern will be fashioned by award-winning landscape architecture firm ICN Design International.
Units housed in 2 towers
Martin Modern will comprise of 2 x 30-storey towers housing a total of 450 units. There will be 240 2-bedroom units with sizes ranging from 820-880 sq ft; 150 3-bedroom units with sizes ranging from 1,050-1,300 sq ft; and 60 1,800 sq ft 4-bedroom units.
The two buildings in Martin Modern will be set as the North Tower and South Tower. The North Tower is North-East/South-West facing with 7 units per level while the South Tower is North-West/South-East facing with 8 units per level.
There will also be a 2-storey basement car park for the convenience of residents.
Residents of Martin Modern need not worry about not being to shop for groceries or other necessities as there are plenty of shopping malls in the vicinity. These include Great World City, UE Square, Robertson Walk Shopping Mall and Liang Court. The shopping paradise of Orchard Road is also a short drive away.
Travelling to work will also be a breeze as residents can cycle their way to the CBD area via the promenade route along the riverside. The Marina Bay Financial District is a mere 10-minute drive away as well.
For young families, there are a number of schools in the area within 2km, including River Valley Primary School, St. Margaret Primary School, Alexandra Primary School and Anglo-Chinese School (Junior).

Martin Modern will receive its official TOP on 30 June 2022 and an expected TOP on the 31 December 2021.
